Candidate for
Governing Board Member; Arcata School District; 4 Year Term

Last year I nominated my daughter's third grade teacher for a Wells Fargo Stagecoach reward, which he won. I participate as an aide in my daughter's classroom whenever I can or accompany the class on field trips. Our family participates in sports teams as well as recitals. My commitment to excellence in education for all members of the community will continue onto the school board if I'm elected.

Through my volunteer job at C.A.S.A. I receive training to be an effective advocate for education. I hope to use these skills with my classroom experience to ensure that all students in the school district get their needs addressed.
