Bringing New Technology Companies to EDH

By Charel Winston

Candidate for City Council Member; City of El Dorado Hills

This information is provided by the candidate
Incorporation of the city of El Dorado Hills will maintain local control and greater revenue through technology base providing improved fiscal benefits for El Dorado County
  • Incorporation provides for local control and ability to provide increased services for the residents of the City of El Dorado Hills.
  • Increased revenue from the growth of sales tax base.
  • Attracting Fortune 500 companies into the City of El Dorado Hills.
  • City of El Dorado Hills must stop profligate spending by El Dorado County agencies. Through incorporation the City El Dorado Hills will no longer be the "cash cow" for El Dorado County.

I advocate bringing new technology companies to the City of El Dorado Hills. This will have a significant and very favorable impact on the economy of our city by ensuring profitability and increased revenue.

The EDH's Internet Mall and Internet Auto Mall will bring new technological approaches to automobile buying and community networking without brick and mortar facilities. This Internet Portal, where people can do all their shopping, from purchasing a car to buying a sofa, on the internet without hassles or extraneous charges will allow the community to increase its sales tax base without the associated infrastructure requirements.

At this time Oracle, Microsoft and Cisco Systems, including other top Fortune 500 companies from Silicone Valley, have expressed an interest in establishing offices and relationships in our fair city.
