Candidate for
Governing Board Member; Pioneer Union School District

I first moved to El Dorado County in 1988 and started working for various temporary agencies until I eventually found a job with a local propane company. I filled cylinders, dispatched trucks, and did general accounting for them.

I was married to Lorna in 1991 and we have three boys together. Philip attends Mt. Creek Middle School whereas Brian and Jon attend Grizzly Pines Elementary.

In 1994 my wife and I started a "Mom and Pop" propane company, 49'R Propane Inc.. We have worked hard in growing that business into one of the largest independent companies in El Dorado County. We are currently in the process of building an office/storage plant for that business which we hope to complete by this spring.

In 2002 I was asked to run for the Pioneer Union school Board. Two others and myself ran unopposed that year. I'm currently that Boards chairperson and I am seeking a second term with this award winning District. I would consider it an honor to serve for four more years.
