Political Philosophy for Mark S. Jordan
Candidate for |

|
Children do not learn at the same pace or in the same way, but all children are gifted at something. It may not be reading, writing, math or social studies. They could be good in art, music, drama or technology, It is our job as parents and educators to find their gifts and build upon them. If we build upon their strengths we will improve the areas of weakness and help them maintain a positive self-esteem. As parents we need to be involved in the education of our children. It is our responsibility to see that our children get the help they need, and that all of the resources possible are used to ensure a successful and enriching educational experience for them. We need to ask questions, visit classrooms, and offer help when possible to teachers and the schools. As a member of the Oakley Union Elementary School District Board of Trustees I have always remembered who elected me. As in the past, if re-elected I will be there to answer your questions and be there to assist in any way possible. I am asking for your continued support by voting for me on Tuesday, November 8th, 2005 Sincerely, Mark S. Jordan |
