This information is provided by the candidate

I am a lifelong Democrat who sincerely believes in responsive and responsible government. I am open, receptive and dedicated to making Emeryville a desirable place to live, work and play.

I believe in operating the City in a fiscally responsible manner and in creating needed social services.

Expanding upon my top three priorities, I want to see the following:

  • Working with the School District and business community, create the Center for Community Life, which will be focused upon providing not only a top quality education for our students, but also comprehensive social services and enrichment programs for our entire community.

  • Quality of life improvements for each neighborhood including more parks and planted greenspace, enhanced traffic management with an emphasis on bike-pedestrian safety, neighborhood-focused stores and restaurants, and a variety of housing for all income levels.

  • Build a visual and performing Arts Center in the Park Avenue Area and expand public art throughout town.
