Redondo has good schools and if you are connected and work the system they can be great. But hidden within each of our schools there is a low performing school.

Grades 2 through 11 42% of our students are below grade level in Language Arts. By 8th grade 76% of our students are below grade level in Mathematics.

By adopting VALUE ADDED ASSESSMENT we will ensure that all of our students get the great teachers.

Single moms head 20% of Redondo households with school age children. The current HW nightmare puts 1/5 of our students at an extreme academic disadvantage. I want that nightmare to end.

Some of our elementary campuses are neglected over-crowed campuses with trailers used for classrooms. While private schools and city offices lease our unused campuses. I want to take back our classrooms,

I think you need to vote for me because I am committed to making some changes that will directly improve the quality of life for the families with children attending our schools.

I think that you need to vote for me because I will only work for the parents and children of Redondo Beach.

The Democratic party, by their own admission, is endorsing candidates that will support other democratic candidates for local and state wide offices. Some of the other candidates here tonight are part of or wanna be part of the good ol boys network.

When I consider education policy, I will not consider the ramifications of some larger political battle. Schools need to stay out of that.

The teachers union endorses candidates who will work for them and protect them from any measure of accountability. I want to work for you.

When the school board works for Parents and children, then there will be accountability measures put in place to recognize the excellent teachers who devote themselves to our children.

I think you need to vote for me because I will devote my energies towards the goal of providing the best education to all of our children and spending the money we have wisely. You will need me on the Board because the others will be too busy fundraising and politicking to pay attention to the education our children and the policies affecting families.
