Teachers need more time to teach, classroom instruction must be aligned to state standards and we must focus on the needs of all our students.
Clear Vision Bring all our resources to bear to increase student achievement.

Clear Standards State Standards must be the driving factor for instruction in our schools.

Clear Expectations The entire school community must work together to provide a valuable and meaningful education for students.

Allow teachers more time to teach and leaders more time to lead. Leverage technology to ease bureaucratic burdens on schools. Central Offices can use technology more effectively requiring less paper work from schools. Use savings to provide more money to teachers and classrooms.

Align instruction to state standards. Teaching in the classroom must be rigorous. State standards must be used in every classroom to raise student achievement. Lesson planning and district resources must focus on providing students a quality standards based education.

Focus on needs of students Set higher expectations: more Advanced Placement courses. Meet the needs of student with special needs: Clear policy and follow through for students in special education programs. Ensure that student and families of all cultures are a valued and important part of the school community.
