Building a New North Branch Library is critical to our city.Two-thirds of all school-aged children in Redondo Beach live north of 190th Street. They need a modern library nearby to succeed in the 21st Century. I'm working with the Redondo Beach Library Foundation Capital Campaign to raise the $4.5M needed to build a new North Branch. The City already has $800,000 set aside for this project. As a City Council member, I'll work to increase this amount by pursuing State and private grants, as well as donations from local business and community leaders. |
