This information is provided by the candidate

My name is John Dierking, and I chose Azusa as the place to start my family, and raise four children. The presence of some of our gem institutions like St. Frances of Rome, where one child attends school, Azusa Pacific University, the First Presbyterian Church of Azusa, and the leadership of Azusa influenced this decision. Time has revealed the wisdom of this choice.

I have had the privilege of serving our community through my work on both the Library Commission, and now the Planning Commission. We have made tremendous progress in transforming our community to one of greater vision and opportunity, but much work remains to be done. Public safety, responsible budgeting, and economic development must remain high priority issues. My background and requisite experience will help provide sound solutions to some of our current and future challenges.

In addition to a law school education, I also have a professional degree in public administration. I have also served as an elected member of the Los Angeles City/County Native American Indian Commission, and was an appointee of Cruz Bustamante to the California Council on Criminal Justice.

I respectfully ask for your support and partnership with a vote for JOHN DIERKING. Together, we "can do" in the Canyon City.
