I am currently the Vice President of the Ventura County Board of Education. I teach Political Science at College of the Canyons. I have been a teacher and administrator in the Simi Valley Public Schools for over thirty years. I was voted the 1998 "Teacher of the Year". (Lew Roth Award) I have listed some of my leadership positions below. I believe my many years of experience qualifies me to serve on the Simi Valley Unified School Board. We need board members who will promote cooperation to meet the challenges ahead.
