Terry Bradford-Crane is originally from Syracuse, New York. Upon graduation from the United States Naval Academy in 1990, she decided to pursue a career in naval aviation. In March 1992, Terry became the first woman selected for assignment to EA-6b Prowlers directly from the Naval Aviation Training Command in Pensacola, Florida.

Upon graduation from the EA-6B Fleet Replacement Squadron, Terry became one of the first women in the United States Navy to receive orders to a tactical jet, carrier based combat squadron; Tactical Electronic Warfare Squadron One Three Zero in Whidbey Island, Washington. By the end of her first fleet tour, she earned a total of three Air Medals for flights over Bosnia and Iraq. She also earned two Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals for her accomplishments in collateral duties normally assigned to officers much senior to her. Her tour included the maiden voyage of the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower with women integrated as regular crewmembers (October 1994-April 1995). She completed over half of her deployment with Carrier Air Wing Three as the only female aircrew member in her squadron.

As a result of her outstanding performance record, Terry was hand selected for a Joint Staff Internship at the Pentagon in May 1996. For her accomplishments in the Chairman's Operations Briefing Division, she received a Joint Service Commendation Medal. She then went on to manage the United States Navy's Domestic and Foreign Service College and Fellowship programs at the Bureau of Naval Personnel in Washington DC. For her accomplishments at the Bureau she was awarded the Navy Commendation Medal.

Between May 1998 and August 2002, Terry was a Financial Advisor and Certified Financial manager for Merrill Lynch. She was a registered representative with the National Association of Security Dealers, and a Life Agent for several states including California. She assisted high net worth individuals, businesses, and non-profit organizations with their assets, liabilities, and retirement programs.

Terry is currently involved with several civic and business organizations. She serves on the advisory board for Women's Economic Ventures - a non-profit organization dedicated to helping women become economically self-sufficient through entrepreneurship and career development. She has been a member of the Camarillo Chamber of Commerce, the National Association of Women Business Owners, and Ventura County Professional Women's Network. She enjoys her role as a mentor for young adults in the Los Angeles/Ventura County area and a guest speaker. Her new company, BradfordCrane Co., provides guest speaker services, and is in the certification/registration process to provide investment advisory services. She enjoys her current primary role as a wife and homemaker. Terry and her husband, Steven, have three daughters and live in Camarillo.
