My third priority is to have better communication. There is a gap between the established community and new residents. I don't have all the answers but I will establish regular office hours and work with the Parks and Recreation Dept. Our older children need a place to "hang out." Basketball courts are inexpensive to build in our parks. They want a Taco Bell type restaurant to visit. A Christian Center would be great. I'd like to meet with the city churches to see what could be done. I have the time and the desire and some knowledge in resolving problems that accompany growth. |
