Expanded Environmental Reviews
- Helped enact a regional environmental review plan that allows for improved regional planning, better protection of endangered species and lowers the cost of constructing new roads. Larry's law inspired national change in the way environmental reviews are done, improved environmental protections and saved tax dollars
Protect Our Oceans
- Wrote legislation to develop and operate a saltwater fish hatchery to replace selectively impacted species. The fish are milked, hatched, nurtured, and then released in the wild. Because of this bill the White Sea bass has made a huge comeback
Adopt A Highway
- AB 2330 allows governments to save tax dollars by allowing the private sector to keep highways clean. In return for their contribution, private sector participants get to advertise

- Founded the largest City Park in the nation - Mission Trails Regional Park
