I'm not for sale at any cost like other politicians. My candidate statement as published in the March 2, 2004 Primary sample ballot: I'm not for sale at any cost like other politicians who want to dip their greedy hands into your wallet when we have a statewide deficit due to their incompetence and ineffectiveness to balance California's $99 billion dollar state budget. I want to fight for the people of California that are sick and tired of the dishonesty that comes from Sacramento. If elected I will start by removing The Joint Powers Act of 1985 and by doing this I will hopefully get rid of 7,000 statewide special tax assessment zones in California. I will also stop AB-1690 the new 8% percent city income tax bill that was co-authored by various members of the state senate and state assembly. I also encourage people to vote No on proposition 56 this law would destroy proposition 13 and its effectiveness in protecting private property rights in our state. I will protect proposition 13 and proposition 218 from the greedy politicians who want to raise your property tax bills so they can take away your homes by excessive taxation. I will also help in the fight in reducing workmen's compensation costs and help get tax relief for businesses. I will work hard along side Governor Schwarzenegger and other members of the state assembly to reduce our state deficit. I make a promise here and now to fight for all the people of California.
