"Education is exceptionally important for me, for my own public-school children, and for all the children of Sonoma Valley. I support strengthening the district's traditional schools, and I also support encouraging educational alternatives for all public-school children. As a young mother of three, I recognize that children learn in different ways, and I believe our public schools must be innovative and flexible in order to meet the needs of every child with excellence.

I am a wife, a mother, a software engineer with considerable business experience, and a community volunteer with extensive experience in public-school governance. I am responsive and responsible.

As a mother, I welcome the opportunity to nurture the children of Sonoma Valley by nourishing our public-school system with fresh ideas and new leadership.
