Smart Voter Political Philosophy for Noreen N. Carvolth

Candidate for
City; City of Santa Rosa High School District

This information is provided by the candidate

I am proud of my accomplishments on the board these past four years. No one could have anticipated the budget crisis that began in 2001. In spite of this challenge, we have maintained small classes, extended the elementary reading program, maintained and improved teachers' training, continued support for struggling students, increased accelerated course offerings, continued to develop and refine career pathways and continued support for the arts and athletics. Project Achieve continues implementation - adding more and more distinction to our diploma.

There is much more I would like to accomplish for our schools and community. Increasing diversity and the complexity of current issues must not be allowed to create fragmentation of our programs. I pledge 100% commitment to balance, non-partisan solutions. Excellence in every school, for every child continues to be my top priority.
