I am a fifth generation resident of Sonoma County. I was born and raised in Santa Rosa. I attended local public schools and graduated from Santa Rosa High School in 1967. I graduated from SRJC in 1969 and transfered to Chico State College. In 1971 I graduated from Chico with a B.S. in business administration. My wife and I have been married thirty-four years and we have two grown children and a grandchild on the way. I am the president of two small businesses, Santa Rosa Auto Parts and Power Industries. My father established these businesses in 1946 and 1951 respectively. I have been active, through the years, with many volunteer organizations and have been a coach for youth soccer and Little League. I was a founding officer of the Santa Rosa High School Foundation in 1988. During my twelve years of service on the SRJC Board of Trustees I served as President of the Board for two years, served on the Doyle Scholarship Committee, am currently a member of the SRJC Foundation Board, past chair of the Bear Cub Athletic Trust and a member of the Board Facilities Committee. |
