Political Philosophy for Frank Briceno
Candidate for |
Education levels the playing field, and prepares individuals to lead a happier and more productive life, for themselves, their family and their community. Everyone should have the opportunity to obtain an affordable, quality education. Economics should not be a barrier to obtaining an education. Pathways to 4 year colleges and universities, certificated professional programs (nursing, police, firefighting, etc. ), as well as, community improvement courses must be maintained at Santa Rosa Junior College. I wish to continue to work with the other Trustees to foster those concepts at Santa Rosa Junior College, and to keep the college academically and fiscally strong; and among the top 10, two year institutions in the country. |
