The District has to generate revenue to secure the future of the Harbor District. Oyster Point Marina is an excellent location to do so.With the continuing growth of genetic engineering and software firms there is an urgent need for an updated master plan for the Oyster Point Marina. The proximity to the City of San Francisco and San Francisco International Airport makes Oyster Point Marina a prime location to become a revenue-generating harbor. A new contemporary master plan with emphasis on developing an area beneficial to the community of San Mateo County and the District itself is long overdue. I will work to see that projects are followed through with, thus saving money and producing an end product which has yet to happen. |
