Top Priorities if Elected
  • Assure that every child in AUSD receives the BEST learning opportunities
  • That we manage the "Business of Education" properly and allocate tax dollars to maximize learning for all kids.
  • Assure that the Teachers, Principals, and Staff of AUSD have all neccessary education resources, research, and teaching materials.
Position Papers
Excellence in Education
I will study successful and high achieving schools , assist all to strive for a learning atmosphere that is always looking to improve and adhere to the "Strategic Plan".
Utilization of Tax Dollars
I will question "every dollar spent". Is it going to necessary expenditures, does it benefit the children directly?
Education Resources and a High School
I will lead teachers, parents and administrators to cooperate with each other for the greatest "learning community" possible... to achieve more by studying success at other school systems within or outside California. I will urge and encourage the Grossmont High School District to place a new High School, at a site near or within the community of Alpine.
