VALERIO BIOGRAPHY Eduardo Valerio is a life-long resident of our community. Born and raised in Chula Vista, Eduardo is a product of our local schools. Otay Elementary, John J. Montgomery Elementary, Castle Park Middle and Castle Park High School helped prepare him to succeed. Eduardo worked throughout his college experience. A proud graduate of San Diego State University, Eduardo received a B.A. in Political Science with a Minor in Spanish. Upon graduating, Eduardo was given a chance of a lifetime. He was offered a job working for U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein in San Francisco. He enthusiastically accepted the position and has never looked back. The experience of working for Senator Feinstein could never be learned in books. Eventually Eduardo became Senator Feinstein's District Director handling San Diego and Imperial Counties. Today, Eduardo owns a successful local business where he's had the opportunity to work with several Fortune 500 companies. Additionally, Eduardo has taken on a new challenge. He was recently named the President of the Sweetwater Education Foundation. At the Foundation, Eduardo has raised urgently needed funding for Sweetwater Union High School students and has a goal of creating a large endowment that will be in place for all current and future Sweetwater students. Eduardo is married to a local educator and is a proud father of a 9-month old baby boy and believes every student deserves the opportunity to reach for the stars!
