Caree is Southern California native who moved to Alpine from Coronado 5 years ago, and is a married mom of a one year old. She is employed in The School of Counseling and Personal Development at Southwestern Community College as a fulltime faculty member, Counselor and Career Center Coordinator. She holds an Associates Degree in Spanish from Grossmont College, a Bachelors degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, with minors in Human Resources and Management from San Diego State University, and a Masters of Science in Education with an emphasis in Counseling from Texas A&M University. Caree has worked as a contractor for the Navy, for General Dynamics, and Goodwill Industries.

Other than her home, Caree has no real estate or business interests in Alpine, and has never held political office.
