1. Social Services Branch To My Fellow Citizens of Milpitas, I am issuing this statement to inform you of my intent to run for Mayor of Milpitas in the upcoming elections in November. Because of technicality that is out of my control, my name will not be included in the ballots in November. This has forced me to run as a write-in candidate for Mayor of Milpitas. Although I am fairly new to the Milpitas political scene, I am confident that you will find my ideas in developing programs focusing on the elderly and the youth in our community to be innovative. Being a newcomer gives me the advantage of not being easily persuaded by any political party to vote one way or another on matters that involve you. I want to be the "Mayor of and for the People." What matters to you will matter to me. No issue will be too small or too big for me to handle. Your voice will be heard and I will make sure that no issue raised by Milpitans will be ignored. With your input and support we can make Milpitas a better place for all its citizens. Please feel free to let me know of any concerns you may have. I will listen, I will respond and I will take action. Together, we can make a difference. Victor Nejal |
