I've advocated in behalf of the general public before this very City Council to reduce costs on water and utilities, to establish a water conservation plan, to keep our water pure and our public informed as to toxins and contaminants, and to build a library long before the aquatics facility. I've gathered with others over 1000 signatures to build the community center for the community when it was first presented as a mini-convention center catering to business interests as opposed to our community's interest. I like to think I played a vital role in adding the arts and crafts room, the pottery lab and other amenities. |
