Candidate for
City Clerk; City of Santa Clara

I am a lifelong resident of Santa Clara who has served the citizens of our city for more than 20 years. I wanted to do more than volunteer spare time to community organizations and decided to play a more active role in Santa Clara government.

For the last 7 years I have worked for the City of Sunnyvale managing programs that serve job seekers and employers throughout Santa Clara County. Prior to that, I worked in private industry for 20 years managing departments and programs of 5 to 70 staff members responsible for multi-million dollar projects and budgets.

I am now interested in dedicating my knowledge and experience to serve the City of Santa Clara full time. I will maintain a high standard of integrity and ethics in city government and support the city's code of ethics and values in building and maintaining a responsible municipal government.

The combination of my management experience and the diverse variety of programs and projects that I have successfully managed provides the insight needed to ensure continued stability in the office of City Clerk. If elected, I intend for this position to be a long-term commitment.
