Political Philosophy for George Doorley
Candidate for |
As a City Councilman, I will protect public safety in Campbell, address traffic problems in our neighborhoods, and keep the city fiscally sound. My experience as both a businessman and public servant gives me the ability to keep Campbell a well-run small town. Serving as Chairman of Campbell's Planning Commission and on the Valley Transportation Authority Citizens' Advisory Committee has been both an honor and an education. Listening to all voices in the community has been my primary objective in order to find progressive common-sense solutions to problems. I am motivated to run for city council because I want our children to experience Campbell at its very best. Being a husband and father enlightens my priorities. My public service began as a combat veteran of the first Persian Gulf War, where I was awarded the Bronze Star Medal. This public service continues today with many community leadership activities. Your vote on November 2, 2004 would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, George Doorley Chairman, Campbell Planning Commission |
