Joe and his wife Karla have made Carpinteria their home for over 13 years. Their four children attend local schools. Their love for Carpinteria started years ago when they realized it really is the jewel of the south coast.

As Executive Director of the Santa Barbara County Taxpayers Association, Joe works with county-wide policymakers making local government(s) more accountable and more efficient while promoting lower taxes.

As the Executive Director of the County of Santa Barbara Industrial Association, he works with leaders in the business community as they work with local government(s) to establish coherent policies essential for creating, attracting and retaining clean, high-paying jobs. These are the jobs vital for middle-class families to live and raise a family here on the South Coast.
