Matt has lived in Carmichael and Sacramento for the last 30 years. He now lives there with his wife Tami and their two children. Matt is involved with community service at both state and local levels serving on numerous boards and committees. Giving back to the community is something he believes in and he is instilling this belief in his children.

Matt is the Executive Director of an organization that represents the construction industry. He is involved with decision making regarding the construction industry locally and also statewide.

Matt has learned much from the Construction Industry. Callaboration - You don't build a building by yourself. Consensus building - You learn to appreciate others ideas. Leadership - To inspire a crew of men, you must keep them focused on the task at hand, while reminding them what they do today will affect what they do in the future.
