Jerry Houseman is endorsed by a cross section of the communities organizations.
I am proud to have the endorsements of two large Democratic groups. The largest Democratic club in Sacramento, the Stonewall Democratic Club has endorsed me. The club represents people of various orientations to life style. A more mainstream Democratic Club The Town and Country Democratic Club also supports me. In addition, the Green Party of Sacramento endorses me. Their party platform closely mirrors my philosophy of life. I have not been contacted by any Republician Club but would be happy to be interviewed for their endorsement for this non partisan office.
The three largest labor unions in the city have also shown their faith in my positions by endorsing me. The Sacramento Central Labor Council (AFL-CIO), the Sacramento City Teachers Association (CTA, NEA), and the Service Employees International Union all back me.
I belong to the Unitarian Universalist Society of Sacramento and have the support of many individual church members. The Sacramento City Unified School District Retired Administrators Group is also behind me.
