We need to have businesses in our community that can supply the basic goods and services we need for our homes and families.

By Bryce L. Vradenburg

Candidate for Council Member; City of Beaumont

This information is provided by the candidate
Many of us have to purchase most of the items we need outside the city limits, Beaumont needs to develop commercial businesses that meet the needs of the community
Beaumont must begin to encourage small business owners to open stores and restaurants inside the city limits. We have to go outside the area for most of our purchases. I have to drive to Calimesa to get gas when I'm traveling into the Redlands area. There are no gas stations on the Northwest side of town. We have no clothing or shoe stores in Beaumont. There are only a few restaurants that serve sit down diners. Getting dog grooming services and specialty services are nearly impossible. The few shops that are available are booked weeks in advance. We need to make sure that all the citizens of Beaumont can purchase the goods and services they need and desire in Beaumont. We should be able to "go shopping" in town and be able to make it a pleasurable experience for everyone.
