Smart Voter Additional Endorsements for Leroy J. Saunders

Candidate for
Director; Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District; Division 4

This information is provided by the candidate

"Quality" of Endorsement is of higher significance than mere "quantity". I esteem the endorsement of these individuals as unequaled in integrity and value.

Who better to recognize value, worth and fiscal qualities than the Treasurer of the City of Lake Elsinore. Obviously, Mr Weber has an eye for appropriate accounting practices as well as the intricate avenues traveled by municipal dollars.

A "close up" view of the action is what Director George Alongi brings to the table of endorsements. Having served on the Board of Directors at EVMWD for 4yrs, he is privy to the "big picture". The "who, what, when, where and how"s of the Board Room, as well as the entire utility infrastructure. He understands the direct impact of Board "posture" on the Rate Payer's services. The best interests of the Rate Payers' tops his agenda - as it will mine. The endorsement of Director Alongi is huge.

Ann Nugent - Realtor Extraordinaire. No one better knows the property values in our area. Likewise, no one better knows the downward slide that they can experience if the wrong element is introduced into the environment. Ann Nugent, a highly successful realtor, is such because she has a keen eye towards the value of property and the marketability of the same. For over a decade she has accurately assessed the value of our properties. She has observed the unprecedented appreciation of those property values. Likewise, anything that will detract from the value or marketability of property is quickly recognized as such.

Is there anyone that can appreciate the safety aspect and the security of our families and loved ones more so than a Law Enforcement Specialsist. Tom Gibby, the proprietor of a successful and growing Protective Services Company recognizes "trouble" when it appears on the horizon. As a Law Enforcement professional his aquired keen observation skills provide timely warning of undesirable things headed for our direction. He works with the community to abate those things that present a threat to the safety and well being of our families. His vigilant eye keeps watch over our community. When trouble appears on the horizon, regardless of the form it takes, we see it approaching, and we are prepared to safeguard the things that are precious to us.

Mike Palmer - a member of the original Oversight Committee for the Temescal Valley. Appointed by Bob Buster because of his many years of service as a firefighter. Mike Palmer has been there. He's done that. He has witnessed, first hand, the devastation wrought by an incorrect calculation of one of nature's fiercest forces. It was the result of a Red Tail Hawk coming in contact with the same 500,000Volts of angry "Captive Lightning" seeking the path of least resistance, that ignited the Angeles National Forest ablaze, and consumed over 5000 acres of multi-species natural habitat before thousands of furry and feathered species could manage to escape.

Firefighters WILL NOT work under the deadly conditions of ultra high voltage lines, literally screaming overhead, "I dare you, I double dare you" A word for the wise? Yes. "Fools rush in, where Firefighters fear to go!" Mike Palmer is no fool Neither am I. Neither are you. Those that endorse this candidate, DO NOT SUPPORT LEAPS NOR THE 500,000V TRANSMISSION LINES. Neither should you!

What better endorsement can one obtain, than that of another - climbing the same mountain as I? Knowing the challenges, first hand, associated with unseating an Incumbent, qualifies one to appreciate and encourage the task undertaken by a peer. I am proud to be endorsed by Leland Harrison - himself a candidate for a seat on the Board of Directors that will represent the good people of Division 5 of the Western Municipal Water District. I look forward to working with Leland in the upcoming days. There's much to accomplish, so much to be done. We can get the job done!
