As a member of your City Council, for the past five years, I believe my actions demonstrate that I am a fiscally responsible team player, with common sense and consistent goals, striving to grow, protect and conserve our resources. I believe Laguna Woods must be a City that cares for its inhabitants and their environment. When city residents participate in decisions and volunteer to help out, we demonstrate that seniors can successfully govern themselves. I believe in prudent budgets, visionary ideas, and reliable, diligent research so that we can find new ways of making dreams become real.

I have proven myself to be an effective leader, dedicated to the needs of the residents of the City of Laguna Woods. As a member of the California Commission on Aging and the Orange County Senior Citizen's Advisory Council, I have fought for grants that have allowed our City to provide transportation, social service, energy efficiency, and household hazardous waste pick-up programs.

It has been my privilege to have contributed, along with the City's talented staff and dedicated volunteers, to make Laguna Woods a viable City. If re-elected,I will continue to work to help make Laguna Woods become the best small city in California.
