Life-long Anaheim roots: My father's family owned the first paint and glass store in Anaheim in the early 1900s. I grew up in our community, own a home in Anaheim and plan to live in Anaheim for the rest of my life. Early on, my parents taught me the values of personal responsibility, accountability and responsibility + values that have served me well personally, professionally and politically. Successful small businesswoman: I am a realtor and investor in Anaheim, and know what our communities need to make them grow and prosper. I am a member of the Pacific West Association of Realtors, the California Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. Respect within the community: For the past eight years, I have been actively involved in the greater Anaheim community, working on a number of issues and causes. I am currently the president of Concerned Citizens of the Canyon, a community activist organization I founded with 5 others in 1998. Since starting this organization, we have been active in shaping and influencing virtually all of Anaheim Hills' most controversial issues, including the expansion of the Megan's Law database availability. In addition to my involvement with Concerned Citizens, I am the past first vice chairman of the Canyon Hills Community Council, a past chair of the Taste of the Canyon Committee, and past chair of the Anaheim Hills 4th of July Parade. |
