Candidate for
Board Member; Midway City Sanitary District; 4 Year Term

Joy currently serves as President of Westminster Historical Society and is a member of Kiwanis Westminster, Barber City Womens Club, Friends of the Library, and Patrons of Goldenwest College.

Joy has served on many committees in the County but presently limits her service to the Midway City Sanitary District. She also represents the interests of the people of Midway City and Westminster as a Director on the Orange County Sanitation District. Joy serves on the Finance and Human Resources Committe.

As Founder/Director/Treasuruer of Delta Savings Bank in Westminster served 7 years as a Board Member of the Bank.

Spending time with 7 sons and 3 granddaughters and 7 grandsons does not leave much time for hobbies. Cooking for family is favorite way to relax followed closely by reading and gardening. Spectator sports: golf, basketball, and baseball have replaced her own golf & bowling activities. As Executive Director at Westminster Museum, a part of each day finds her at Blakey Historical Park caring for Henny & Penny( 2 black hens)who are a major attraction for the several hundred 3rd grade students who visit the big red, barn and museum each year as a part of their local history study.
