The Irvine Ranch Water District can point to considerable achievements.

A national and international reputation as an inovative and aggressive leader in water re-use and water conservation.

The first agency in California to implement full scale use of recycled water.

A Leader in the development of new and diverse water supply projects to ensure highly reliable and cost effective service.

Additionally, the Irvine Ranch Water District is sensitive to the enviromnent. The development of the San Joaquin Marsh helps clean the water flowing into Newport Bay. In 2005, IRWD will be constructing a network of treatment wetlands to further clean urban run-off.
