As a candidate I offer a sincere commitment to public service, compassion and caring to all who make up the dynamic and diverse community of Garden GroveMy name is Benny Diaz, and I am running for City Council. I am running because like you, I care about the future of our city. With your support I will be able to bring your ideas and concerns to our city leaders. I will protect your investment in the city. I do not believe in increasing taxes to balance our budget. We should provide our residents the services they deserve within our budget constraints in an efficient and responsible manner. We must protect our city's low crime rate by supporting our police officers and equipping firefighters with the tools necessary to make our city a secure place to live. I am a candidate with strong moral and ethical convictions. I have lived in Garden Grove for the last 12 years. I graduated from Fullerton College and UCI with a degree in Political Science. I work for the State as a compliance officer and have been a member of the Garden Grove Community Foundation and other local county community organizations. I am asking you to please support me with your vote and together lets bring a fresh and positive outlook to our city. BENNY DIAZ |
