Candidate for
Member, City Council; City of Fountain Valley

As Mayor Pro-Tem, it is an honor to represent you. Six years ago I earned your trust when you elected me. I have worked diligently to ensure that Fountain Valley continues to be a community where you feel safe as you live, work or play.

I am a 30 year resident of Fountain Valley, married and have two daughters. I earned a B.A. in Public Administration, am a Vietnam Veteran and have served the youth, seniors and business community in leadership roles.

You communicate a high level of satisfaction with policy decisions and services. That is gratifying. I have worked hard to utilize your tax dollars wisely. I've helped make decisions which include a balanced budget, ten year budget plan, streamlined operations, and adequate reserve funds. Maintaining a strong, viable business base, compatible with the growth goals of the community has provided consistent revenue. My priority is maintaining the level of police, fire, public works, water and community services you enjoy and deserve.

I've demonstrated that I am accessible, fair, open minded and dedicated to the serious job of representing you. I sincerely want to continue to serve you with honor and integrity.
