Education is one of Claudia's top priorities. She is committed to making sure every one of our children have the same opportunities Claudia had. Working with our School District Claudia has accomplish among other things, the following: School resources better aimed to best benefit our children; New schools being constructed; Additional classrooms created; overcrowding reduced; After school programs created and substantive subjects emphasized.

As a Deputy District Attorney Claudia fights crime everyday to keep our families safe. She has also increased emphasis on public safety to ensure the Police Deparment and The District Attorneys Office join operations to succeed. That along with community policing has resulted in a 12%decrease in crime.

Claudia is a strong advocate for our neighborhoods. She has improved communication between our residents and City Hall and has tremendously improved our parks, streets, storm drains, traffic plans and infrastructure across our city.
