Biography of Terry Rosenthal, CPA

Terry Rosenthal is a Certified Public Accountant and has 35 years of diversified experience in all areas of healthcare management. Areas of expertise include start-up operations, interim management, managed care operations, physician integration strategies, capitation, as well as acquisitions and divestitures on a domestic and international basis. Terry Rosenthal has held positions of Senior Vice President and CFO of Children's Hospital and Research Center at Oakland, Divisional CFO and Divisional Controller for twenty-four hospitals of HCA, A successful consulting assignment with Ornda Healthcare in Nashville, Tennessee as Western Regional Controller of seven acute care hospitals.

Major accomplishments are the successful acquisition of Mt. Elizabeth Hospital, Singapore (495 bed Medical Center and MOB) for NME. The creation of the strategic business plan, financial proforma, and building of two new facilities in Ukiah and Sebastopol, California for HCA and the financial turnaround of Davies Medical Center, San Francisco, California.

Also, the integration of Mt. Zion Medical Center and UCSF in San Francisco, California and all the financial conversions to consolidated the two institutions. Completion of a very successful three year consulting engagement at Ornda/Western Region

Terry's holds a BA Degree at Golden Gate University in Accounting with additional advanced courses in healthcare. Experience includes lectures at HFMA conferences and articles published by HFMA. Professional affiliations include the American Institute of CPA's, Hospital Financial Management-Advanced member, and the California Society of CPA's.
