Fiscal integrity, financial responsibility, and student achievement should be the priorities for the Fresno Unified School Board. To achieve fiscal integrity we should:

  • Safeguard Funding for New Schools
  • Initiate Budget Audit and Revise the Budget Process
  • Assess the Organizational Structure and Reduce Bureaucracy
  • Encourage Input from Parents, Staff, and Community in Decision Making

To increase student achievement, we should:
  • Increase vocational education opportunities
  • Provide the necessary instructional materials to all classrooms
  • Restore music, librarian, and high school counselor positions
  • Reduce student absences and truancies
