CITY OF SANGER, ORDINANCE NO. 1046 INCREASE IN TRANSACTIONS AND USE TAXES, MEASURE S. The Ordinance increases Transactions and Use taxes from 0.9600% to 1.46%. Transactions tax is charged on personal property sold by retailers within City limits. Use tax is imposed on storage, use or consumption of personal property purchased from retailers within City limits. The State Board of Equalization administers and enforces the Ordinance. Penalties are included for failure to pay the taxes and for providing false tax returns. The Ordinance must receive simple majority approval.

CIUDAD DE SANGER, ORDENANZA NO. 1046 AUMENTO DE LOS IMPUESTOS A LAS TRANSACCIONES Y AL USO, MEDIDA S. La ordenanza aumenta los Impuestos a las Transacciones y al Uso, del 0.9600% al 1.46%. El impuesto a las transacciones se carga a los bienes personales vendidos por comerciantes minoristas dentro de los límites de la Ciudad. El impuesto al uso se impone al almacenamiento, uso o consumo de los bienes personales comprados de los minoristas dentro de los límites de la Ciudad. La Junta Estatal de Igualación administra y hace cumplir la Ordenanza. Se incluyen sanciones por incumplimiento en el pago de los impuestos y por proporcionar declaraciones de rentas falsas. La Ordenanza debe recibir una aprobación por mayoría simple.
