Full Biography for Rosalind "Roz" Rogoff, PhD

I have a PhD in Instructional Design and almost 25 years of experience writing user guides and training materials. I worked as a systems analyst and training supervisor at Hughes Aircraft from 1980-1992. I wrote an educational column for a small newspaper chain in Culver City. Then I moved to Morro Bay, CA and bought two radio stations, which I automated and ran. Water was a big issue in Morro Bay. I supported building a pipeline to join the State Water program. I even produced a radio spot supporting State Water, with Vaughn Monroe's recording of "Cool Water" in the background. After I sold the radio stations I took a job as Technical Writer at Relevant Business Systems in San Ramon. I wrote or updated all their application manuals and online help. I was the lead QA tester for their new barcode data collection system. I now teach online courses in Instructional Design and Information Technology for the University of Phoenix. My schedule is very flexible, so I can attend meetings during the day or night. |
