Highway 4 completion without carpool lanesBy Steven Kirk "Steve" BallengerCandidate for Member, City Council; City of Antioch | |
This information is provided by the candidate |
Very simply; 4 lanes open to all then a carpool laneWhen the government got into social engineering of how we drive they attempted to remove 1 of 4 lanes on Southern California freeways for carpools. It did not work. Southern California now has 5th lanes dedicated as 24 hour carpool. Northern California should have the same carpool lane set up. Why do we complain, bitterly, when Los Angeles freeways get repaired faster then Northern California but accept only 3 unrestricted freeway lanes. I will fight for 4 unrestricted lanes when elected. |
