Mary Ann Greene will include you in decision-making. Greene seeks a public dialogue, open city government, and a civil public debate about ideas and programs, always seeking the best for our citizens - not distracted by petty personal politicking. Greene will build bridges to bring solutions. Green Supports a Code of Ethics for public officials ( Greene will listen and respect diversity. Culver City needs this kind of leadership. We need to be able to balance the budget without diminishing the Police and Fire Department, and enhance the quality of life of our residents, through public parks, street cleaning, public infrastructure and education. This is a difficult task. It demands public input, collaboration between departments, and active bridge building between the City Council and our public employees. Greene will bring new vision and innovation: Neighborhood councils to involve and empower our residents. Business development that protects our residential areas. Increased tourism built upon our heritage as an entertainment production center, augmented by the potential beauty of our natural surroundings, from the Baldwin Hills to Ballona Creek. Traffic Problems require regional solutions + Greene has already begun building bridges for regional cooperation. |
