Questions & Answers

1. What can be done to ensure that California gets its fair share of federal resources?

Federal "resources" are obtained by stealing wealth from the American people (called taxes). Most of this goes to pay bureaucrats and provide welfare to insider corporations. Some is sent to the states which pays its bureaucrats, and then some is spent on what the politicians consider to be "good causes." Individuals and corporations which are not dependent on the government (private sector)should decide how to invest this wealth. When there was no income tax, there was great wealth production--and plenty of money for charity.

2. What are your foreign policy priorities for the United States?

The United States has 720 military bases around the world (and another 8000 in the U.S.). The purpose is imperialism. The U.S. has been meddling in other countries'affairs (including killing people in these countries) for half a century. It is amazing that 9/11 didn't happen many years ago. Our military must be strong, but it should not be anywhere that isn't a real threat to the U.S. (such as Iraq). Justification for war (loss of our children and loss of massive amounts of wealth) should not be lies and patriotic jingoism.

3. What are your priorities for the federal budget?

Terminate all programs which are not allowed by the Constitution. I will vote for any bill which makes government smaller and less intrusive. I will vote against any bill which makes government larger and reduces our individual liberty and personal responsibility.
