1. What can be done to ensure that California gets its fair share of federal resources?
|
Answer from Pat Gray:
I don't intend to be a 'pork barrel' specialist. I will work to see that all the people of our nations are treated fairly. I attempt to get federal funding for a series of pilot projects on alternative energy systems for California and work to protect our precious environment.
2. What are your foreign policy priorities for the United States?
|
Answer from Pat Gray:
I want the United States to step back from building an empire. I want us to be a nation that is respected and admired--not hated and feared. I think that we should not attempt to be the world's policeman. The United Nations is the organization to assure the security of the sovereign nations of the world. I will attempt to establish a system of fair trade and repeal the trade treaties that are so damaging our economy and causing the loss of so many American jobs.
3. What are your priorities for the federal budget?
|
Answer from Pat Gray:
I think that our tax funds should be used to meet the needs of our people and to protect our environment. I don't think we should squander the wealth of our nation for world domination, and maintaining our position as the supreme military power on earth and space.
