ANOTHER BUSH JOKE!

If you need more motivation to work for Bush's "early retirement" read the following joke about three Texas surgeons - and reflect on how TRUE it seems!

Three Texas surgeons were playing golf together and discussing surgeries they had performed.

One of them said, "I'm the best surgeon in Texas. A concert pianist lost 7 fingers in an accident, I reattached them, and 8 months later he performed a private concert for the Queen of England."

One of the others said. "That's nothing. A young man lost both arms and legs in an accident, I reattached them, and 2 years later he won a gold medal in field events in the Olympics."

The third surgeon said, "You guys are amateurs. Several years ago a cowboy who was high on cocaine and alcohol rode a horse head-on into a train traveling 80 miles an hour. All I had left to work with was the horse's ass and a cowboy hat. Now he's president of the United States."

OPPOSE BUSH'S "MARRIAGE AMENDMENT": WRITE TO MARY CHENEY!

Jerry Falwell has now made adoption of the "Federal Marriage Amendment" his full-time project. Falwell is a fundamentalist NUT who once said that 9/11 was "God's punishment" on the US for recognizing the rights of women and gays and lesbians!

This proposed amendment to the US Constitution would not only prohibit gay marriages, but would overturn ALL laws granting domestic partner benefits to gay and lesbian couples.

Vice President Dick Cheney previously said, "The fact of the matter is we live in a free society, and freedom means freedom for everybody. . . . And I think that means that people should be free to enter into any kind of relationship they want to enter into. It's really no one else's business in terms of trying to regulate or prohibit behavior in that regard. . . . I think different states are likely to come to different conclusions, and that's appropriate. I don't think there should necessarily be a federal policy in this area."

Now - he is waffling - saying he might join Bush in endorsing the "Marriage Amendment".

This is where Mary Cheney comes in: She is the OUT lesbian daughter of Dick Cheney. So far, she has said NOTHING publicly concerning "Marriage Amendment".

Go to the following site and tell Mary Cheney she needs to come out AGAINST the "Marriage Amendment" - and lobby her father to adhere to the TRUE conservative position on this matter [i.e., that THIS is a matter for the STATES to decide!]
