Sonia has the leadership skills to ensure that the DCCC supports candidates and ballot measures that are moderate and fair to all sectors of San Francisco and at the same time uphold the Democratic Party's values. She has served under four Mayors as a Commissioner, City Department head and, most recently on Mayor Newsom's Transition Team. Executive Director: Saint Francis Memorial Hospital's Rally Family Visitation Services. Partner of CommuniQue: Management and Communications Consultants, a firm founded in 1990 to serve the management and marketing needs of for-profit and non-profit organizations. Adjunct faculty member University of San Francisco + Masters Program in Nonprofit Management San Francisco State University + Bachelors and Masters Program in School of Social Work Former Executive Director of the San Francisco Department on the Status of Women Founder: Hispanic Yellow Pages in 1984.
