Chuck Reed is an independent voice for honest, open, fair and effective government.Chuck Reed has lead the City Council to be more honest, open, fair and effective. He got the Council to change the budgeting process to follow the City Charter. He got the Council to change the performance review process for Council Appointees so that it follows the City Charter. He got the Council to change the Department Head hiring process so that it follows the City Charter. He got the Council to adopt a policy of open government to guide compliance with the Public Records Act. He got the Council to give more notice than required by state law so that the public has more notice about controversial items on the agenda. |
