By Francisco Zermeno

Candidate for Council Member; City of Hayward

This information is provided by the candidate
Protection, Improvement and Preservation of our Neighborhoods
Hayward is vibrant, rich in people and tradition, deserving a leader who will protect, improve and preserve its neighborhoods.
Recognizing the need to preserve the quality of life in our growing
urban community, I will protect Hayward by reinforcing our excellent safety and emergency services, supporting our city outreach programs, especially home ownership, and explore various crime prevention strategies.
I will work with our business community to improve our local
economy by supporting downtown revitalization and auto mall projects. I will bring our educational systems together to improve our local educational opportunities.
I will lead Hayward into the future assuring its vitality, honoring its
uniqueness, and strengthening the community.
I believe Hayward has a responsibility to provide every citizen
complete access to all of the resources and services in our neighborhoods. I will work to make sure that every citizen is educated, employed and healthy, empowering them to actively participate in civic affairs.
I am your best choice for city council because of my 22 years as a
Hayward resident homeowner, businessman, and educator. I have been involved in community advocacy, volunteerism, and service as a Planning and Library Commissioner in Hayward. Vote Zermeņo for Hayward, Heart of the Bay!
